What we’ll do

Join Terumi to experience Japanese soft sweet, “wagashi” making, and tea ceremony.  Both are Japanese traditional unique culture.  Years ago, as we enjoyed wagashi our grandma made at home, I would like you to enjoy such an experience.

When I travel abroad, I love to join local sweet making workshops, especially which have long been eaten by the locals. Since I am a home-cooking dish reasercher and instructor based in Japan since 2008, and also taking Japanese cultural classes for drinking matcha and wearing kimono, I like to offer an experience of Japanese sweet making and tea ceremony in friendly way. In Japan tea drinking is developed into tea ceremony with deep cultural roots, but we can enjoy tea ceremony anywhere not only in traditional tea room.
The workshop place is hold at Hostel Enishia Namba since they wish their guests to enjoy Japanese cultures during stay in Japan.
